Bull McCabes
Bull McCabes holds justifable claim to having the greatest bar scene on St. Marks Place, if not the whole East Village. From punks to puritans this is where it's at. Great Rock-n-Roll jukebox, pool table, sidewalk people watching and a huge beer garden at the rear (with Cessna may we add). There is something here for everybody and everybody seems to have been here sometime in their lives. Warning! If you don't play pool, love rock-n-roll, drink too much and love to engage in conversation with anybody this is not the place for you. Just ask the bartender..he'll tell you - to your face we might add!

As seen in

This token "haven of normality on St. Mark's Place" is a "streetfront" saloon offering "Irish hospitality" aplenty in a setting so "comfortable" it's "like an extension of your living room" (assuming your domicile is a bit "dark and run-down"); the "great patio" out back is more inviting.
